August 31st, 2019. A rumor that a civillian was kidnapped and slain by the cops is spreading like a wildfire. A large crowd gathers in front of the Mongkok police station to demand an explanation. In Mongkok, police and protesters play a game of hide and seek every night.

Many emblematic words and symbols of the protest, such as “the Five demands, not one less”, swastika, and 7.21(the date of Yuen Long attack), are scrawled on the walls of a street near Mongkok.
