Police trucks swarm the streets of Mongkok, spraying demonstrators with water cannons to break off the crowd.
The water cannon has hit many demonstrators directly on multiple occasions, knocking them down.
The Morning Has Arrived Once Again
The protest, which lasted till the break of dawn, has finally come to an end. As if nothing had happened the night before, normalcy has returned.
The street sweepers proceed to clean up the streets and remove the remnants of the demonstration.
